Theatre and stage

 Our intimate 489 soft-seat theatre is perfect venue to host your event, whether it be a concert, presentation, dance, drama or musical production.

The theatre is equipped with an advanced lighting system, a side range of audio equipment and a Petrof concert grand piano.

The theatre and stage is 34' wide x 36' deep.

Please note: We will follow current Alberta Health guidelines for maximum capacity numbers.

Commercial rentals

• Consecutive 5-hour performance block: $1158.97
• Additional hours: $245.60/hour 
• Includes 1 technician and 1 front of house
  *Base rates, additional fees may apply 

Non-profit rentals

• Consecutive 5-hour performance block: $668.37
• Additional hours: $146.46
• Includes 1 technician and 1 front of house
  *Base rates, additional fees may apply 

A not-for-profit registration number will be requested at time of booking to qualify for these rates.

The client is responsible for technician overtime after eight hours; the number of technicians required for your rental is at the discretion of the technicians and will be an extra cost to the renter which will be identified to the client in advance. 

All rentals include one front of house, a second front of house is required if patron capacity exceeds 249 and will be an extra cost to the renter.

Additional details

• The DJ cannot play past 1 a.m.
• Rentals are until 2 a.m. unless otherwise arranged.
• Complete set up of the event is included in the above rates.
• The client is responsible for supplying, setting up and tearing down decorations at the end of the evening.
• Food & Beverage Service Update at Festival Place
  We’ve made some exciting changes to our food and beverage service at Festival Place! We no longer have an exclusive in-house caterer, which means you now have the flexibility to choose a caterer that suits your taste and budget.
  To support your catering needs, we offer a dedicated space equipped for food plating, dishwashing, and refrigeration. Please ensure that your chosen caterer holds a valid AHS Food Handling Permit and carries appropriate insurance.
• Beverage Service Provided by Festival Place
  Festival Place will continue to provide all beverage services. Our selection includes beer, wine, coolers, and a variety of non-alcoholic options such as pop, juice, bottled water, coffee, and tea.
