The pumpkin carriage, glass slippers, and beautiful ball gowns that you know and love from this iconic fairy tale are all set to the soaring music of one of musical theatre’s greatest writing teams, with a whip smart new script from Douglas Carter Beane. With classic Rodgers and Hammerstein gems like “Ten Minutes Ago,” “In My Own Little Corner,” “Stepsister’s Lament,” and “Impossible,” Cinderella dreams of a life away from her cruel and unyielding step mother and step sisters. With a little bit of magic and some help from her fairy godmother, she finds herself swept along on a romantic adventure to meet her Prince at the Royal Ball. But of course they’ll only find their way to each other…if the shoe fits.
