Adaya Lafleur, Ensemble
Adaya is happy to be involved in her fourth musical theatre production at Festival Place and has enjoyed meeting all the amazing people involved in this show! She is currently in Grade 11 at Louis St. Laurent and is playing Glinda in her school's rendition of the The Wizard of Oz!

Alice Thomas, Lyle / Ensemble
Alice is super excited to participate in her first production at Festival Place! Previously, she was Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast. Whether you see her or not, she hopes you enjoy the show! Cut Footloose!

Amy Radford, Ensemble
Amy is thrilled to be in the ensemble and assures you that her mistakes are actually intentional artistic choices. She's grateful to the cast and crew for all the laughs and memories, apologizes to her family for dancing everywhere they go, and hopes you enjoy the show as much as she loves counting eight-counts.

Aubrey Crossland, Rusty
Aubrey is in her final year of high school at Salisbury Composite High (SAL), and she is so excited to be playing the role of Rusty in Footloose! She enjoys spending most of her time with her friends, her family and in the SAL theatre. She would like to thank her family for always being so supportive. Now cut footloose and enjoy the show!

Aurelia Ciezki, Dani / Ensemble
I'm currently in Grade 8 and am every excited to be a part of this production of Footloose. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball and hanging out with friends. I love performing and have been doing it since I was four years old. I'm so thankful to my parents and the cast of this show!

Bethany Cooke, Eleanor Dunbar / Ensemble
Bethany has lots of energy and has loved theatre since she was little. Along with performing in Mary Poppins Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., and Newsies Jr., she is so excited to perform on the Festival Place stage once again! She hopes you enjoy the show and welcomes you to the world of Footloose!

Brady Helwig, Reverend Shaw Moore
Brady Helwig is a Grade 12 student at Salisbury Composite High (SAL). He has had the honour to perform in six shows with SAL. Some of his favourite roles he's portrayed are: Arthur Roeder in Radium Girls and Amos Hart in Chicago. This is his first Festival Place production and he is thrilled to be involved with the show.

Brady Miller, Garvin / Ensemble
I am so excited for my second show with the Festival Players. My mom took me to see Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the Citadel Theatre, and from that moment on, I knew the stage was where I wanted to be. My dream role would be playing Beetlejuice in Beetlejuice: The Musical. Thank you to my family for supporting my dream!

Brant Wever, Cowboy Bob / Cop / Coach Dunbar / Ensemble
Brant Wever is in Grade 11 at Salisbury Composite High and this is his first show with the Festival Players. Select credits include: King Trident and the Cowardly Lion. Brant is endlessly grateful for everything Mrs. Frigon has done for him and wouldn't be on stage without her guidance. Enjoy the show!

Brianna Skitsko, Lindsay / Ensemble
Brianna is a performing arts student here in Sherwood Park and this is her third show with Festival Players. When she's not on stage, you will find Brianna singing a theatre song, snuggling her puppies or playing soccer. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoys being part of the cast!

Callum Coish, Jeter / Ensemble
Callum is 12 years old and lives in Edmonton. He is a French immersion Grade 7 student at Avalon Junior High School. He loves being in the competitive dance program at Shelley's Dance Company. Callum is enjoying being part of this production of Footloose. He was also in Beauty and the Beast as Chip in 2022.

Charlene Patterson, Chet / Ensemble
Charlene is excited to be part of this year's production of Footloose! This is Carlene's fourth production with Festival Players for Kids. She has had a wonderful experience with this cast and crew and can't wait to share it with you. Thank you so much for coming – get ready to kick off your Sunday shoes!

Charlotte Mis, Vi
Charlotte Mis is a Grade 10 student at Jasper Place High School. She loves performing, and has been on stage since she was young. This will be her fourth Festival Players show; you may have previously seen her as Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music or in the ensemble in Matilda.

Drew Cameron, Chuck Cranston
This is Drew's first show with Festival Young Players and he is very excited. Drew would like to thank everyone involved with the show as well as his friends, family and most importantly his parents. Drew hopes you can kick off your Sunday shoes and enjoy the show!

Elizabeth Kyle, Urleen
Elizabeth is 18 years old and recently graduated from Bev Facey. You may have seen her in previous shows, including Letters to Sala, and the hit musical Mamma Mia. When not rehearsing, you can find Elizabeth at work or with her nose in a book. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support.

Elizabeth Trask, Betty Blast / Ensemble
Elizabeth Trask is a Grade 12 student at Salisbury Composite High. You may have seen her in other productions such as The Wizard of Oz as Dorothy Gale or The Little Mermaid as Sebastian. She hopes you enjoy the show and feel it glide by with the same fun and energy as wheels spinning across the floor.

Indiana Corkery-Kirkby, Boy 1 / Ensemble
Indiana is eager for her first show with Festival Place. She was previously seen as Duffy and ensemble in Annie. Outside of theatre, you will find her baking, reading Harry Potter and hanging out with friends. She wants to give a special thanks to her family for the endless support!

Jaycee Wood, Ethel Mccormack
Jaycee is excited to be working with such a wonderful and talented group of people in her first show outside of high school! She would like to thank her gorgeous mother for all the support and encouragement she has given to support her daughter. She hopes that you enjoy the show!

Jillian Friesen, Ensemble
Jillian is ecstatic to be a part of this year's production of Footloose! This is her third and final junior show with Festival Place as next year she will be heading to post secondary. Her favourite part of the process has been making friends, learning choreography and watching it all come together. Enjoy the show!

Josie Soubliere, Marty / Ensemble
Josie loves dancing, singing, dressing up all fancy and she loves her bestie, Ava. The only way that she could do this show is with the help of God! Josie is so thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of Footloose. Josie is also so grateful for all the cast members, Victoria, Madison and Lynette!

Kendall Ferguson, Cowgirl Bonnie / Ensemble
Kendall is thrilled to appear in Footloose for her first production with Festival Players! She has a strong passion for musical theatre and most recently played Flounder in Salisbury Composite High's production of The Little Mermaid. Enjoy the show!

Kingston Bennett, Bickle / Uncle Wes / Ensemble
Kingston Bennett is a Grade 11 student at Salisbury Composite High (SAL), making his Festival Place debut in Footloose. Kingston was in SAL's The Little Mermaid Jr. Outside of musical theatre he enjoys playing sports, playing the violin and hanging out with friends. He is excited for you to watch the show and hopes you enjoy.

Lakyn Cassell, Cowgirl Laura Jo / Ensemble
Lakyn is thrilled to be back with Festival Players for a second year. She has always loved theatre and was ecstatic to be in The Sound of Music last year. Lenny is very excited to be making his debut at Festival Place! Lenny is in his first year at MacEwan University in the Musical Theatre Performance program. You may recognize him from Victoria School of the Art's The Lightning Thief (Grover) or Emil and the Detectives (Toots). He hopes you enjoy the show! Let's dance!

London Merten, Boy 2 / Ensemble
London is a Grade 10 student at Salisbury Composite High (SAL). This is London's second ever show! She was recently in SAL's production of The Little Mermaid. She is very excited to be a part of such an amazing production. Hope you enjoy the show.

Maddy Meraw, Ensemble
Madalynn is a Grade 7 student at St. Theresa Junior High who is passionate about basketball and fashion. This is her first theatre production that she has ever been a part of. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has loved being a part of it! Much love to her family.

Max Grant, Travis / Ensemble
Max Grant is a Grade 12 student at Salisbury Composite High (SAL) and he is absolutely ecstatic to be Travis/ensemble in this production of Footloose. You may recognize him from various SAL shows such as Chicago or Radium Girls! Outside of theatre you can find Max grinding Fortnite, solving Rubik's cubes or hitting the gym. Enjoy the show!

Mira Sych, Cowgirl Jude / Ensemble
Mira Sych is a Grade 8 student in Edmonton, Alberta. She has been performing since she was three and loves ballet, musical theatre and her cat, Willow. She is thrilled to be Cowgirl Jude and part of the ensemble of this production of Footloose.

Miriam Anderst, Stevie / Ensemble
Miriam is thrilled to be a part of Footloose! She has been seen in shows as Harper in The Grinch, an Oompa Loompa in Willy Wonka, and Matilda in Matilda: The Musical. She would like to thank her directors for making this such an amazing show and her cousin for making it to her plays! She hopes you enjoy Footloose!

Paige Lind-Hucal, Lulu / Ensemble
Paige is thrilled to be making her debut at Festival Place as Aunt Lulu in Footloose! She recently appeared as Mrs. Honey in Matilda Jr. at Crescendo Music Studios. Much love to everyone who has supported her dreams and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Ruby Kasawski, Principal Clark / Ensemble
Ruby is a senior at Salisbury Composite High. Some of her past theatre experiences include playing Ursula in The Little Mermaid Jr., Heidi Grey in Taming the Wild Wild West and co-directing the award winning one act Gossip. When she's not onstage, Ruby can be found blocking her next one act or filming with her camera.

Samantha Kramer, Ariel
Samantha is thrilled to play Ariel in this production of Footloose: Youth Edition! This is her third Festival Place show, playing Liesl in The Sound of Music last year. Shayna James, Wendy Jo
Shayna is 17 years old and goes to Salisbury Composite High (SAL). You may have seen Shayna in SAL's recent productions like Mean Girls, Chicago and Festival Place's The Sound of Music last year. Shayna enjoys hanging out with friends like Peyton and her sisters Juliana and Leigha. She hopes you enjoy the show and get footloose!

Skyler Handfield, Williard
Skyler is 16 and is happy to be in the production of Footloose. This is his fourth musical! You may know him from the shows that go by the names of The Wizard of Oz as Scarecrow, Amos Hart from Chicago and Grimsby from The Little Mermaid. Skyler would like you to sit back and relax and cut loose for Footloose.

Linette J. Smith, Director
Linette J. Smith is artistic director of the Scona Theatre Co. and Scona Alumni Theatre. Select credits include direction and choreography for Sterling Award-winning Ride the Cyclone, as well as direction for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and Singin' in the Rain at Festival Place. She thanks this incredible team for building the show this season.

Madison Frigon, Stage Manager
Madison is honoured to make her Festival Place stage management debut after 10 years as an assistant stage manager with Festival Players. Her theatre passion includes credits in stage management, directing, acting, dance, production and more. Endless thanks to her husband, family, team and cast for this show!

Julie Sucie, Musical Director
Past music direction credits include SATCO's Alice by Heart, the Citadel Young Company's Working (assistant musical director) and many Foote Theatre School camps. Past performing credits: Cinderella (Festival Players), The Drowsy Chaperone and Working (Young Company), Welcome to Thebes (ABBEDAM), Footloose (Scona Theatre Co.).

Victoria Reid, Choreographer
Victoria is an Edmonton-based educator and choreographer with a BEd and BA in drama, as well as an MAE from the Royal Academy of Dance. Collaborating with this brilliant team and watching these kiddos grow as dancers while bringing this epic dance musical to life has been a dream! Big love to Leopold and Jonathan!

Carol Ljuden, Set Painter
Carol Ljuden has provided scenic work on the following Festival Place productions: Anne of Green Gables, Charlotte's Web, Snow White, Elf, Oklahoma!, Matilda, Cinderella, The Sound of Music and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She has previously worked on Disney Cruise Ships, Disney World and Universal Studios theme parks.

Miriam Veugelers, Assistant Director
Miriam is loving her return as assistant director with the Festival Players after working on The Sound of Music last year. She is a 2024 graduate of MacEwan University's musical theatre program and has taught dance and drama at Festival Place for nearly four years. She would like to thank Linette for her mentorship.

Taryn Nanninga, Assistant Stage Manager
Taryn Nanninga is beyond excited to be an assistant stage manager for her first Festival Place production. Although she's teched multiple shows in the past, she's never done one quite like this and hopes you enjoy the show and all the hard work that went into it.

Hope McNeal, Tech Crew
Hope McNeal is a 17 year old Salisbury Composite High student and is thrilled to be working on Footloose! This is her second show with Festival Players, her first being Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She would like to thank Madison Frigon for this incredible opportunity. Megan Rebus, Tech Crew
Megan Rebus is a Salisbury Composite High student. She was backstage for the showing of The Wizard of Oz, Taming the Wild Wild West in a Dress, and Chicago. She worked in the booth for The Little Mermaid and Radium Girls. When the location is right she loves to watch films.

Adyson Carmichael, Tech Crew
Adyson Carmichael is a Grade 12 student at Salisbury Composite High. She has been a part of two shows performed at Festival Place and is excited to do more in the future! She is dedicated to the work she does as a technician and can't wait to make more memories. Adyson would love to pursue tech theatre as her career.
